Design Thinking Masterclass with Mark Brand

DESCRIPTION

Masterclass with Mark Brand

The Save On Meats case study - from local token program to global digital platform

Serial social entrepreneur, Mark Brand, leads an interactive Masterclass to explore innovation through storytelling, discussions and group activities. Taking on Vancouver butcher and diner, Save On Meats, Mark created The Token Program.

What began as a scheme to redeem a token for a sandwich, grew into a cashless system which has fed over 100,000 people in need. Over the past three years, his global digital platform, Positive Access Link (PAL) has created interactions between those who have, and those who don’t.

Mark believes innovation stems from doing something you genuinely care about, and that human diversity is good for business.

"Human diversity in business must be baked in. It makes exponential impact to your bottom line, your HR practices, your community engagement and the most important, happiness."
