We have an exciting opportunity with this creative agency based in Surry Hills, Sydney. They are seeking a General Manager to join the team, working alongside the very talented and digitally sharp co-founders.
The role is responsible for the day to day running of the agency, client services and operations, profit & loss and nurturing the business and its long-term success.
With a well-formed client list, including high-profile companies, this is an opportunity to leverage and extend these clients further and as a springboard for new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent – hiring, mentoring, performance review
- Understanding financials and driving target and KPI achievement
- Profit & Loss and forecasting
- Working with founders to establish strategic direction and commercial objectives
- Industry know-how and best practice
- Client management
- Pitching and new business development
- Acting as the agency representative and driving the profile within the industry
You will have a solid track record as a General Manager, with at least 4 years in a similar role within an independent agency environment. You will be confident leading a business of 20 employees (across the Sydney and Melbourne offices), with the ability to ‘get stuck in’ where needed – be that client meetings and pitches, to hiring, mentoring and leading projects as required. You will be confident across integrated creative.
