Digital Strategist
Our client is a globally recognised, innovation-led agency delivering integrated creative solutions for major brands. They are looking for an experienced Digital Strategist to join their team on a 3-month contract. This is a hybrid role with one work-from-home day per week, offering the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-performing environment alongside senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

This Digital Strategist role plays a pivotal role in defining and driving digital strategy. This role bridges brand, performance, and experience — working closely with Client Services, Creative, Data, and Tech teams to deliver strategies that connect content, media, and commerce.
You will help shape how the client evolves its digital offering — building frameworks for CRO, CRM, DTC experience, media integration, and the smart use of AI, data, and automation across the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and articulate clear, insight-led digital strategies across clients
- Champion a test-and-learn culture with measurable KPIs for CRO, retention, and digital engagement.
- Translate complex business goals into actionable, data-driven digital roadmaps.
Customer & Channel Strategy
- Design end-to-end DTC journey strategies integrating website, CRM, media, and retail ecosystems.
- Use analytics and audience insights to drive segmentation, personalisation, and conversion growth.
- Collaborate with SEO, performance, and UX teams to optimise customer experience and ROI.
Innovation & Thought Leadership
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, marketing automation, and MarTech platforms to improve marketing efficiency.
- Lead workshops and client sessions to inspire forward-thinking digital planning and innovation.
- Stay ahead of global and local digital trends to inform future client and agency direction.
Key Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in digital strategy, CX, or integrated planning (agency or client-side).
- Proven experience developing digital strategies for complex, multi-channel environments (e.g. DTC, e-commerce, CRM, social, content, or performance media).
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills — able to use data to build persuasive narratives.
- Deep understanding of digital ecosystems — including SEO/SEM, social, UX, CRO, and MarTech stacks.
- Hands-on familiarity with tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, Shopify, or ActiveCampaign (advantageous).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
