Creative Brand Strategist
This is an incredible opportunity to join an award-winning agency based in Auckland to service New Zealand and Australian clients as a senior Creative Brand Strategist. Our client is a D&AD globally ranked agency in the packaging and brand space that has a large percentage of clients in the Australian market that need to be serviced and managed, along with New Zealand clients.
You are a senior level Brand Strategist at the top of your game with experience in brand comms, fluent in brand articulation and taking stakeholders on the journey, clearly explaining the brand purpose, vision and strategy. You can unpack their brands and articulate the brand voice, tone and storytelling. It would be beneficial if you come from a creative background. You could also bring skills as a copywriter or a researcher, to round out the skills in the senior management team, who are located in Auckland and together will lead and facilitate these brand workshops.
There are 15 people in the New Zealand team currently, and the work is predominantly in the SME, tech and sustainability space.
Ultimately our client is looking for the right attitude. You will bring complimentary skills and show the right amounts of hunger and drive.
Requirements:
- You need to have a design agency background and have years of experience as a creative brand strategist
- You need to have formal brand strategy experience and have worked at some of the top brand agencies
- You need to have a strategic mindset and experience working directly with clients to map out strategic platforms across research / brand strategy / creative strategy / business strategy
- Can run workshops / interviews confidently
- You are comfortable creating insights / brand strategy / creative strategy presentations and delivering them to clients
- Be Auckland based
- You need to be self-motivated
