Art Director / Creative Director - Freelance

We are looking for freelancers to join us. We are a creative recruitment agency, with offices in Australia, New Zealand and now in London. We have a wide range of freelance and contract roles available for immediate starts across Junior, Intermediate & Senior levels. Assignments can range from 1 day through to 3 – 6 + month long contracts – offering you flexibility to pick and choose when you want to work. You have the option to invoice or to have your tax done for you. Easy As.

We are calling out to all Art Directors and Creative Directors who are keen to be involved in exciting new projects across both agencies and in-house clients. You will thrive in fast paced environments, can pick tasks up quickly, and run with it.

As a Creative Director, you will be a bigger picture thinker – cast your vision, form concepts and pilot design philosophy. You enjoy being responsible for developing a thorough understanding of a brand identity/direction and translating that into a cohesive and impactful brand expression that drives an emotional connection with products/brands and their audience.

As an Art Director, you will be a natural team leader, an excellent communicator as you head up your team to create the aesthetic and bring the vision to life. You enjoy seeing the project through the phases of production, edits and final execution, and using your hands on technical skills to help the team get the job done.

You are driven to deliver visual, art-directed campaign elements to meet the requirements of a brief across any digital, print or experiential touch points.

Taking briefs, dealing with stakeholders and discussing strategy comes as second nature to you. You will also have a solid understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud. We are looking for demonstrated experience within creative direction, art direction and design and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.

Reliability is key in the world of freelance and you will need to have a high attention to detail with great organisational skills as you work across a range of different assignments.
