Sydney Indesign Event

Sydney Indesign is cruisin’ in on the 11th – 12th August, and you are going to want to hop on board. SID17 is the coming together of boutique commercial design houses, international and regional, and leading creatives from the architecture and design industry.

An immersive, innovative design experience, SID17 has continued to be the region’s single most powerful vehicle for connecting designers, specifiers, suppliers, manufacturers and developers. With curated pop-up spaces, workshops, demonstrations and entertainment. We have had over 100,000 guests in the last 15 years, so this event has become the unbeatable standard for design events in Australia.

However, for this year we’ve tightened the nuts and hit the nail right on the head. This year we have spread the event across two major precincts in Alexandria and Waterloo. With 15+ showrooms and our two curated multi-brand spaces, The Venue & B2 Studios – there’ll be plenty to see and do without missing a beat! Visitors can virtually walk door to door between showrooms or travel via our complimentary hop on/hop off bus service.

This year we have an action-packed event:

Friday 11th, August – Official Event day

12pm – 6pm: Showrooms activations across the Alexandria and Waterloo Precincts as well as our shared multi-brand spaces at The Venue and B2 Studios.

We will also be bringing back our informative and slightly controversial WorkLife and LiveLife Design Hunter® Series hosted within selected participating showrooms.

6pm – 10pm: Invite only Showroom Events will take place with exclusive access to the latest products and releases as well as activations at the Venue and B2 Studios.

Saturday 12th, August – Official Event day

10am – 6pm: Once again this is an Official Event day across all showrooms and our shared multi-brand spaces at The Venue and B2 Studios.

7pm ‘til late: Indesign will be closing the event with an Official Wrap Party to celebrate with Exhibitors, Directors and VIP members of the Event.
