Social Media Content Manager / Content Writer

Do you thrive creating engaging campaign messaging, social content, and audience-driven storytelling across fast-moving brands?

We have partnered with a major entertainment and live events brand to find a Freelance Social Media Content Manager / Content Writer to support the marketing team across a large-scale national event campaign.

This role will focus on social content creation, campaign copywriting, eDMs, paid social campaigns, announcements, ticket campaigns, and day-to-day platform support across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. They are looking for someone who understands entertainment, events, festivals, and social-first storytelling, with the ability to create engaging, audience-driven copy while maintaining a strong and consistent brand tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write social captions, campaign messaging, and promotional copy
  • Support campaign launches, announcements, and promotional rollouts
  • Assist with eDM copywriting and paid social campaigns
  • Help plan and schedule content across multiple platforms
  • Adapt messaging across different audience segments and channels
  • Support community engagement and reactive social content where required

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience across entertainment, live events, festivals, or social-first brands
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and digital culture
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience across eDMs, paid social, or campaign copywriting is highly regarded

 

What’s On Offer:

  • Primarily remote freelance role
  • Close to full-time hours expected July to September
  • Lighter casual support October to mid-January
  • Increased support again mid-January through March 2027
  • Opportunity to work on a large-scale national entertainment campaign
  • Availability to be onsite in Queensland during March 2027 event delivery is required
