Junior Graphic Designer

Are you looking for the opportunity to work with a New Zealand owned company that designs and manufactures modern, award-winning consumer brands? This is a fantastic role for a graduate designer or 1 - 2 years of experience, who has a passion for brand and packaging. 

You will be working closely with this Design and Marketing team located in Newmarket, Auckland, to roll out new packaging artwork, amend dielines, create beautiful concepts and build out assets for presentations. You will also gain exposure to new product development, marketing campaigns, photoshoots and more, growing your skillset across both print and digital media. This is a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the design process and to learn within a collaborative team.

You will be confident, comfortable working at pace and excited to contribute creatively across a growing brand portfolio. You need a strong eye for detail with an amazing portfolio to match. 

What You Will Be Doing

• Rolling out packaging artwork & amendments
• Preparing files for production with a high level of accuracy
• Creating visually stunning mockups and designs for presentations
• Maintaining brand consistency across all outputs
• Supporting the Senior Designer on a range of new products, brands and packaging projects
• Supporting the Marketing team with assets for social campaigns and point of sale
• Supporting campaign rollouts from concept through to execution

Software Experience

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)

• Nice to have - Motion or video skills (e.g. After Effects)
• Experience with packaging or FMCG brands
• Photo editing skills (Lightroom and Photoshop)
