Creative Artworker / Mac Op
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Production Artist to join this design agency team. In this role, you will bring your expertise in InDesign, Adobe Suite, Powerpoint, Word, and Figma to work on production projects across a range of channels. From large-format outdoor campaigns to digital rollouts, you will be responsible for preparing and finalising design files for both print and digital platforms, ensuring all technical specifications are met. Your role will be pivotal in quality control during the production phase of the design projects.
Responsibilities:
- Take design concepts from the designers and refine them to production standards, ensuring correct file dimensions, resolution, colour modes, and formats.
- Carefully review designs to spot errors, inconsistencies, and issues that might affect final output—this may include proofreading text, checking image quality, and ensuring colour accuracy.
- Follow established design processes to produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Support the creative team by handling tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other staff, contributing positively to the team’s dynamic.
- Produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Work with marketing teams or team leaders to gather feedback and escalate any design issues when necessary.
- Prepare finished artwork for various platforms, including print, web layouts, and event activations.
- Maintain an organised file system to ensure easy access to design assets for future use or revisions.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the design industry
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Figma
- High competence with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OFT’s
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the initiative to tackle challenges
