Account Manager / PPC Specialist

This role is for an experienced Account Manager / PPC Specialist who has 2 - 4 years of experience in managing paid ad campaigns, particularly within Google Ads, Meta Ads and other social media platforms to join their team.  Located in their Melbourne office, they will however also consider this role to be based in their Sydney office.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a solid understanding of platform best practices, campaign creation/optimisation, creative testing and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. Your main focus will be managing client relationships and their performance marketing campaigns (end-to-end), providing strategic input to the client and internally briefing in specialised services such as creative, content, and email marketing when needed. While email marketing experience is a bonus, it’s something they are happy to teach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, Criteo, etc
  • Optimise ad performance, driving improvements in ROAS, revenue & profitability and formulate and implement strategic recommendations based on data insights
  • Serve as the primary contact for your clients, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service
  • Coordinate with internal teams to brief on specialised services (creative, content, email marketing) where necessary
  • Provide clear, actionable reports on campaign performance and insights
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in the digital advertising landscape

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Paid Advertising Platforms: Strong proficiency in Google Ads and Meta Ads. Experience with TikTok, Pinterest, Criteo & LinkedIn Ads is advantageous
  • Data & Analytics: Deep understanding of GA4, site metrics, performance metrics, attribution and business metrics as well as the ability to interpret data from multiple sources for optimisation
  • Digital Strategy & Targeting: Deep understanding of different campaign objectives, bidding strategies, ad formats and advanced targeting techniques
  • Budget Management: Experience managing monthly media budgets of $30K - $200K+ efficiently
  • Client Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in campaign setup and ongoing management
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues proactively and propose effective solutions
  • Communication: Communication of complex concepts and campaign insights clearly and concisely for clients and team members
  • Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple clients, campaigns and deadlines while maintaining quality output.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, designers, and content teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Google Ads and Meta Ads + other social platforms (agency experience preferred).
  • Strong client management experience, with the ability to manage expectations and foster long-term relationships from C-level down.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on optimising campaigns for performance metrics such as CTR, ROAS, and CPA.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the digital marketing space.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
